A message from the community
Morne-Rouge, Bas denar ou nan Zorey Wednesday 18 June 2025 Dear Donor, Words cannot adequately express the profound gratitude we feel for your donation toward building a well in our community. Prior to this, we were severely limited by the lack of clean water; life was a constant struggle against waterborne diseases. Moreover, we were tired from walking long distances everyday for water. Thanks to your kindness our children can now focus on their studies. Our hygiene is better, our wellbeing have never been better, we have access to clean water. Thank you once again for improving our quality of life. The Community Morne-Rouge bas Denar.

Around 400 people will use this well for water. One community member stated that one round trip to the previous safe water source would take one hour, and they would go twice a day. In addition to this, they would also purchase 800 Goudes of water per week.
