We, the entire people of Ebbo in Anguwan Bassa Community, extend their profound gratitude to Lifewater Nigeria for building new toilet in our community. Indeed is a privilege and it will sound ungrateful; for not been concern and grateful. Sincerely, we cannot appreciate you enough. We are really grateful for saving us the stress of going to search for where to defecate/excrete. God bless Lifewater Nigeria/Canada Yours faithfully, Danladi Peter 09034679311
The Ebbo community had long been trapped in a cycle of unsanitary conditions that deeply affected their dignity and health. For years, they lacked basic sanitation, with people openly defecating, creating a constant, unbearable smell. The situation was particularly dire during the rainy season when "human waste flowed into our paths and stream," making their environment not only shameful but incredibly dangerous. However, a profound and unprecedented change arrived with Lifewater's support. "We are filled with joy for what you have done for us," Danladi shared, expressing the community's overwhelming relief. The impact of Lifewater's intervention has been truly transformative for Ebbo. Proper latrines now stand in their village, bringing about a dramatic shift. Their environment is visibly clean, and people are using the new facilities with a newfound sense of pride. Even the elders, who initially resisted change, now actively encourage others to utilize the latrines, demonstrating a community-wide embrace of healthier practices. "You have given us more than toilets, you have given us health, dignity, and a cleaner future," Danladi concluded, emphasizing the comprehensive nature of Lifewater's gift. "May your work continue to spread light across other villages. We remain forever grateful." Lifewater's commitment has not only provided essential infrastructure but has also restored a fundamental sense of well-being and hope to the entire Ebbo community.
