The nearby stream in St. Meshack Fellowship Church community in Kisumu County is a seasonal stream, but also a nearby source of water to the villagers. The villagers would often collect water from the stream but when it would dry up, they were forced to walk for several kilometers to seek other sources of water. To ensure that the community did not just have access to water, but that the villagers have access to a reliable source of clean water, Lifewater Canada funded the construction of a new well in St. Meshack Fellowship Church village and installed a new hand pump. Thanks to our donors, the grateful residents are enjoying access to clean and safe water from their village well.
