Residents of God Everlasting Love Church had easy access to water, but none of it was clean water. George Siko, a resident said he has lived in his community for years, but was not aware of any known clean sources of water, except when it rained, “Most of the boreholes we have in this community are hand dug, and mostly dry up during seasons of drought. The population around is also increasing yearly, making the water points available less accessible to us. The hand dug pumps are also in people’s personal compounds, thereby limiting access to sufficient water for most residents. We are happy that you have solved this big problem for us, by drilling a new well in our community. The church together with the community around will take full ownership of the pump, and we will ensure that it is always safe, and free from being vandalized by external people”.
