Kapkorio Nursery in Kenya's Nakuru county would spend 5 CAD to buy clean drinking water for students every week. It was struggle to afford enough drinking water for everyone so students barely had enough to drink. The young students would sometimes go throughout the day without any clean drinking water, when the school was unable to afford clean drinking water for everyone. Lifewater Canada and Lifewater Kenya drilled a well for the school and installed a new hand pump so the students and the surrounding community are able to access affordable clean and safe water.
