Thanks to the support of our donors, children and adults in AIC Wanjura community no longer need to risk becoming sick with diarrhea or other waterborne illnesses after drinking from the nearest shallow hand dug well. The young students were forced to rely on the shallow well because the community had no access to clean and safe drinking and washing water. But Lifewater and Lifewater Kenya visited AIC Wanjura recently, drilled a new well and installed a new hand pump. The grateful community has safe, accessible water.
