It has been a long journey to us as community since we had tough times getting to reach water but since you came to our rescue, life has been easy for us. We as the community have tried our level best to make sure we are cooperated with them to make ends meet. We as the community are very thankful for everything you have done for us since water is life and we to travel very far to fetch water and now it is available, and we can fetch anytime. Residents of Kangoo community are fully aware of the consequences of not having easy access to clean water. The only time the residents would enjoy clean and safe water was during the rainy season, which is very short and rare in the Mwingi region. While struggling to access water was part of their daily lives, Kyalo Mutei, a resident, says they could never get used to struggling to access water. “We did not have easy access to water; clean water was even out of was out of question. We were always grateful to have been able to collect water from the shallow well, a process that sometimes took the whole day, leaving us with no time to address other issues in our lives. This is why we are immensely blessed by Lifewater after they drilled us a well and installed a hand pump. We are living a beautiful dream. Collecting water has never been this easy. It is also very dignifying that we can access clean water. Thank you all so much,”
