Tabitha 3 Rescue Center in Kenya’s Embu county is a center for the rescued children of imprisoned parents, shunned by the society. The center provides a home and education for the children between 0 to 18 years old, seeing them through basic education, and giving them a shot at a better future. However, the home’s major challenge has always been access to clean and safe drinking water enough for the children and stuff at the home. So, through the support of our donors, Lifewater Canada drilled a well in Tabitha 3 Rescue Centre and installed a hand pump. With clean and safe water easily flowing at the home, the management is able to save money that would have been spent on water, to take care of other needs at the center.
