The church and the community suffered greatly lacking clean water. Our only source was a dirty stream, the same stagnant stream where cows wallowed and drank. We had no choice but to use this contaminated water, though it brought much sickness. Every Sunday, the children in my class came with dry lips. Their parents sent them with only small bottles of water from home not enough to last the three-hour service. which was never enough. The younger ones often begged for water; this made them struggled to focus on their Bible lessons." Pastor Victor's words paint a poignant picture of the daily struggles faced by the children. Their physical thirst directly impacted their ability to engage with their spiritual learning, creating a barrier to their growth and understanding. The contaminated water source was a constant threat to their health, casting a shadow over their young lives. However, the intervention of Lifewater brought a transformative change, quenching not only physical thirst but also nurturing spiritual growth. "I cannot describe the joy I felt when water finally returned to Christ Apostolic Church," Pastor Victor exclaims with heartfelt emotion. The provision of a clean and accessible water source marked a new beginning for the church and its community. The impact on the children has been particularly significant. "The children now arrive eager to learn, stopping by the fresh well to drink before class begins. With clean water, they can grow physically and spiritually, without the worry of thirst," Pastor Victor shares with joy. The simple act of having clean water readily available has removed a fundamental barrier to their learning and well-being, allowing them to thrive both physically and spiritually. The gratitude of the entire congregation is profound. "The church overflows giving thanks for this precious gift. Our praises join the chorus of children laughing as this life-giving water flows freely through our once struggling community," Pastor Victor describes, highlighting the collective joy and transformation.
