Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

In the Kokona Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, the Albarka Baptist Church in Angwan Kuta serves as a spiritual and communal hub. However, the joy and fellowship within the church were hampered by a significant challenge: a damaged borehole that disrupted their daily activities and access to clean water. As Solomon Gowon, a member of the church, recounts with heartfelt gratitude: "I am Solomon Gowon, thank you Lifewater for your kindness and effort of coming to fix our damaged borehole. The church and entire community is rejoicing after Lifewater repaired our borehole. The water shortage was affecting our daily activities, but now we can function normally again. The organization's kindness and generosity are truly appreciated." The lack of a functioning borehole had a direct impact on the church's ability to serve its congregation and the wider community effectively. Simple daily tasks became struggles, and the lack of readily available clean water was a constant concern. However, the timely and generous intervention of Lifewater brought immense joy and relief to the Albarka Baptist Church and the surrounding community. By repairing their damaged borehole, Lifewater restored a vital resource, enabling the church to resume its activities without hindrance. "We are grateful for Lifewater's support; we would have no reason whatsoever to go back home to drink water during church service again now that we have access to clean safe water at our reach once again," Solomon Gowon joyfully explains. "Thank you for bringing water back to our church and community. This would enable us to serve others more effectively. Thank you Lifewater, and God reward you all for your service to humanity." For Albarka Baptist Church and Angwan Kuta, Lifewater's kindness has not only provided a basic necessity but has also empowered them to focus on their spiritual mission and serve their community with renewed vigor.
