Despite having a well, a clean source of water just a short distance away, the villagers of Koyoo in Kisumu county still could not access clean and safe drinking water. The hand pump on their communal well was broken, making clean and safe water inaccessible. However, Lifewater repaired the broken hand pump, so clean and safe drinking water is accessible in Koyoo community.
