A message from the community

I take this chance to thank your organisation for repairing our borehole. We were in dire need of water being that we are in drought season. Your team did a great job and we are happy. Yours faith, Simon Owiti.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

For over 10 years since their village’s only borehole was constructed, the people of Kowiti community did not know any other clean source of water. This is why when the hand pump on the village’s well failed, they struggled to acquire clean and safe water. Given that there was no any other option, everyone turned to the nearby shallow well. Thankfully, Lifewater funded the repair of the broken hand pump, so everyone in the village is enjoying clean water again.
