A message from the community

On behalf of the entire community, I thank Stada fraternity for coming through to repair our water point. We are happy and may the lord bless you. Yours faithful, Catherine Atieno.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

The people of Konyango Women Group community had no access to clean water because the hand pump on their well stopped working. The villagers would make their way to an alternative source of water every morning, and given the long way to the pump and the long queue they had to put up with, they were only able to make it back home from noon onwards, just for one trip, never mind that in some cases, they needed to cover multiple trips to have enough water for a day's activities at home. The scarcity of water made their lives difficult, even as they believed that help would arrive soon. Help eventually arrived through our Lifewater-empowered hand pump repair team, who stopped by the village and repaired the broken hand pump. Clean and safe water is now easily accessible in Konyango Women Group community.
