A well in Down Duport village would ensure the villagers were well supplied with clean and safe drinking water. But the well had served the villagers for years, even as it worn down to a point the water was becoming unsafe. However, Lifewater Canada funded the rehabilitation of the well in Down Duport village, and even replaced its broken hand pump. The residents of Down Duport village are happy to have uninterrupted access to clean water.
