We the members of Dantigi community want to sincerely show our appreciation to Lifewater organization to have come to rehabilitate our damaged borehole. I am Mohammadu Garuba, I am the chief here in Dantigi village. My community has suffered from waterborne diseases for years. We get to drink water from unreliable source, the water from the river is full of germs and smells so badly because we share the water with diverse types of animals. Sometime when our women and children get to the stream, they find dead animals floating in the water. the rehabilitation of the borehole was a game-changer. Access to clean, safe water was restored, the rates of waterborne illness dropped significantly. Families no longer face the constant threat of diseases like cholera and dysentery. The newfound health and vitality spread throughout the village, with children been able to attend school and the elderly able to participate more fully in community activities. Thank you for putting smiles and bringing hope to our lives. Dantigi residents are all happy with what Lifewater has done for them.
