I am Umoru Abubakar from Magoyi, I am extremely grateful to Lifewater for the rehabilitation of our abandoned borehole. Our women have been suffering to get access to clean water after the community borehole stop functioning. This has affected activities and production in the community. Our businesses suffer because of the lack of clean water. Many were unable to cook or wash their products due to lack of water. After the borehole was restored, clean water became accessible to all, our lives got revitalized so do our local businesses. The rehabilitation gave our women the opportunity to expand their income-generating activities. Thank you for coming to change our stories and putting smiles on our faces. We can now focus on how to provide for our families without necessarily getting worried of the bad and terrible water crisis we once faced.
