My name is Ibrahim Mohammed, I am a worker here in Kochikota Primary HealthCare. The local primary health care center has struggled for long due to the severe lack of clean water. The borehole that once supplied water to the center had been damaged for years, forcing staff and patients to rely on contaminated, distant water sources. This led to a rise in waterborne diseases among patients and a constant strain on health care resources. Expectant mothers, children, and the elderly were mostly victims, Nurses had to go to great lengths to procure clean water for basic medical needs like sterilizing equipment and cleaning wounds. After Lifewater arrival, the borehole has finally been rehabilitated, clean, safe water has been made available once again to the health center. The impact was immediate and profound. With a reliable water source, the health center is now able to improve hygiene thereby reducing the risk of infections and waterborne diseases. The community now feels a renewed sense of hope and vitality. Thank you so much Lifewater, you gave us life once again.
