Kokoyah Road Community is located in one of Liberia’s urban slumps Within Bong County , dominantly Muslims inhabited community. This well was an old Afridev pump well drilled back in the early years of the Liberia Civil War. But got spoiled for years now it was only recently that Lifewater repair team visited and replace the spoil Afridev pump to a New Alfidev hand pump It was a great joy for the people of Kokoyah Road Community and relief for them as the their water source were been restored after many years. Until now the people of the this community have been buying plastic water for drinking and going far distances for almost 30-45 minutes’ walk to get clean water for their domestic used. many days kids will not attend school in time or stay home at time especially young girls during the time when they are going through their cycle. Upon the repairs of the well, the community black leader extends Many thanks to Lifewater and partners for restoring their hope and reducing their suffering for water.
