Some community details (provided by our in-country partners) |
Driving in the Tabar Community Q#4 community, it seems like a familiar traditional Liberian community but deep inside is the dire need for safe drinking water. This community once enjoyed the glory days of a functioning hand pump that pumped safe drinking water. But since it broke down, life seems all different again. "This pump always helped us since 2018,’’ one local explained. When the pump got repaired, locals were delighted once again. Many wrote Lifewater to express their thanks and appreciation for the hard work Lifewater has done for them. As the Lifewater pump repair team packed up to leave, they could all feel the joy they have given this community. This benevolence will go a very long way in helping the community stay free from waterborne diseases. |
