A message from the community

Marshall Community Quarter 1 has seen the consequences of a breakdown of their hand pump. It exposed the locals to several health complications. The lack of alternative safe drinking water sources also worsened the situation.

According to locals, they usually purchase water for their children under five years old to drink, while they themselves drink from their old hand-dug well.

"The breakdown of our pump was a serious challenge for us,’’ a local resident cited.

In fact, there were lots of girls that missed school to fetch water for their households. With lots of excitement and joy, the community expressed thanks to Lifewater for the pump repair.

‘‘May God bless Lifewater for this good work,’’ a community leader wrote in his thank-you letter to Lifewater.
