Some community details (provided by our in-country partners) |

It was not just poor hygiene amongst students of Ochwado Pri School that was a tell-tale sign of clean water crisis in the Ochwado community, but the constant waterborne disease attacks among the young ones made it clear that the community needed an year-round clean source of water. The school and the community at large would collect water from the nearby dirty river because that was the only water source in the village. Thankfully, Lifewater Canada donors enabled us to drill a new well in Ochwado Pri School and install a new hand pump. Everyone in Ochwado community can easily access clean and safe drinking water from the school's well. |
