Some community details (provided by our in-country partners) |

Ongeche Primary School in Kisumu county has about three hundred students. The school was not close to any source of water, much less a source of safe water. The students would walk for several kilometers to the river to drink and wash. The trip to the source of water took away class time from the students, and the river's water would make them sick. However, Lifewater Canada and Stada Kenya partnered to drill a new well for the school and install a new hand pump. The students at Ongeche Primary School are now able to access clean and safe drinking water from their new well. |
