On behalf of Kathing community and Freedom church, we take this opportunity to appreciate the Stada Kenya and Lifewater Canada for bringing clean  water source to our community by drilling us a well. We are so deeply grateful to have access to clean water.

Kathing village in Kisumu county had no source of clean water. The villagers would harvest rainwater but that lasted as long as the rains, then they would go back to drinking and washing from the river.

Diseases such as diarrheal were common in the area when flood water would flow into the water sources, contaminating them even further.

Thankfully, the community now has a long-lasting solution to the perpetual water crisis, this is after Lifewater Canada and Stada Kenya partnered to drill a  new well for Kathing village and install a new hand pump.
