A message from the community

We would like to say thanks to the entire Lifewater repair team for repairing our hand pump and chlorinating our well. This is a huge blessing to our community and we are grateful.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Before Lifewater's repair team was notified, the hand-powered pumps on both wells that provide water to the people of Yellow Building had broken down for more than a month, due to their constant use by many residents. During this time, women and children suffered greatly as they walked long distances every day in search of safe water for drinking and other uses.

But recently, Lifewater's team repaired the pumps (including this one) and restored the flow of safe, easily accessible water. Relieved that they are no longer travelling long distances in search of safe drinking water, the women of this community said they are very grateful to Lifewater and our donors for this precious gift.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
