Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Central Charlesville Township Q2 is in Margibi County just before Robert International Airport. Four months ago, the hand--powered pump on the community's well broke down and left everyone without any safe drinking water. Residents had to go back to fetching water from their old sources including creeks and open hand-dug wells. These sources are often contaminated, which resulting in many people in the community experiencing diarrhea, stomach aches, and skin rashes.

To reach the creeks and hand-dug wells, women and children had to walk long distances -- using up time the women needed to care for their families and the children needed to be in school.

But recently, Lifewater's repair team arrived, fixed the hand pump, and restored the well's flow of safe and easily accessible water. Community members are relieved and happy to have their safe water source back again. They expressed their gratitude to Lifewater and our donors.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
