A message from the community

We the residents of Duazohn community write to say a big thank you to your entity for providing our community with a repaired hand pump and a health and hygiene workshop. We promise to use these facilities and this knowledge for their intended purposes. May God bless your organization.

-- Benduma Kamaa, Duazohn Community Chairman

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Duazohn is along the RIA highway, with part of it in Margibi County and the rest in Montserrado County. Both parts share the same community well. When the hand pump on the well failed five months ago, people were forced to fetch dirty water from their old hand-dug wells or to walk far distances in search of safe drinking water from commercial vendors.

But now, after the Lifewater repair team visited, the community's hand pump has been repaired and safe water is available to everyone again. The residents of Duazon asked their leaders to extend thanks and appreciation for the repaired well.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
