We in the New Israel community extend great thanks and appreciation to your Christian organization for providing our town with safe drinking winter. You came to our aid at the needed time, a time when our only hand pump was damaged.

New Israel is in lower Margibi, close to the border with Liberia's Montserrado County. This community had challenges accessing safe drinking for some time because the hand pump on its well was awaiting repair for two months. Residents were forced to gather dirty water from hand-dug wells or to buy water from local vendors at prices that most people could not afford.

With support from its donors, the Lifewater team came and repaired the broken hand pump. The people of New Israel were very happy for the repair of their well. Through their community Leaders, the people extended thanks and appreciation to Lifewater for the good job.
