Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Jecko Town Q1 is in Buchanan City in Liberia’s Grand Bassa County. The community is large and is believed to be one of the areas where monkeys played before being inhabited by the people due to the population increase in Buchanan.

A few years ago, Lifewater drilled some wells and installed some hand pumps in Jecko Town. When one of the pumps failed recently, Lifewater returned and replaced the spoiled parts so the pump worked again. It was a great relief to everyone, because they had been walking about a half hour to buy water in plastic jugs for drinking and other domestic uses.

After the repairs, the community leaders were smiling and thanking God and the Lifewater team for coming to their aid.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
