A message from the community

We extend many thanks and much appreciation to the team that assisted our citizens by providing safe drinking water. We thank the team for repairing our pump. We hope and pray that God will bless the entire team for this kind gesture.

Stephen Baryogar, Community Leader

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

This community is at the Monrovia road junction before entering the city of Buchanan in Grand Bassa County. It is one of the largest communities in the area, with more people moving in every day due to its beautiful location along the St. John River.

There was a well but its pump broke down two months ago. The only other sources of drinking water were the river and open hand-dug wells.

After the Lifewater repair team repaired the broken pump, the people were happy having their well working again. The community leaders thanked  Lifewater and it donors for putting smiles on the faces of the kids who had been walking long distances for water every day for their families.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
