Dear sponsor:

We want to say "thank you very much" for repairing our community pump. We have safe drinking water again!

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Zardun Town is in one of Liberia's urban slums within Grand Bassa County. The majority of the villagers who live in this area are from the Bassa ethnic group. They had a water well but it stopped functioning about six months ago due to worn-out seals and broken rods. People had to get their drinking water from the river. They walked for about 45 minutes. Due to this situation, many children missed their morning classes while looking for water.

The Lifewater team visited recently to replace the parts and repair the pump. Now the well is working and people in this area are free and safe  from diarrhea and other water borne diseases.

Repair needed: replace broken rods and spoiled seals

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
