A message from the community

Dear Sir/Madame,

The community elders are pleased to offer thanks on behalf of the community dwellers. We were delighted when you came to our rescue and not only repaired our handpump but saw our need and are drilling another well.

Thank you and may the good Lord bless and keep you.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

This community is situated along the Gbanga/KoKoyah District road.  The water source for this large community was poor. Lifewater provided a new well and hand pump as well as offering our repair team who were able to fix their broken hand pump. The well got broken down for the past two months and the locals had to go back to their old hand dug wells and creek to get water for their domestic used. But now after the Lifewater repair team visited and repaired their broken pump, they were all happy again having their well back on. The locals through their community Leaders extend thanks and appreciation to the Lifewater team.

There was need for a major overhaul of this pump, including switching out the cylinder, the 2 seals, foot valves and rods as well as the 2" piping.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
