This is a large community of over 5,600 people.  This well was down a long time but is now working well and had the seals changed, the rods replaced, along with a new head and cylinder.  Over the time the pump was down, the people went back to the old dug well for their water and purchased bagged water for drinking if they could afford it.  

In the future they have agreed to participate in the annual maintenance fee for regular maintenance attention.
