Some community details (provided by our in-country partners) |
Goshen Community is along the Monrovia Kakata Highway after Mount Barclay. It is newly inhabited and has much social needs including the lack of water. A well drilled by Lifewater about two years ago broke down due the big number of people using it. The well pump was broken for two weeks before Lifewater could come to fix it. In that time, the people of this community were buying water for drinking and going far distances in other parts of the area to draw water from their old source -- a hand-dug well. It was a great joy for the people of and a relief for them as their safe water source was restored. The community leaders extend many thanks to Lifewater and its partners for restoring their pump. |
