Project Summary |
||||||||||||||||||
The location was initially built for serving police officers. However, it is a mix of both serving officers, retired officers and other civilians that rely on this well for water. With high cost of purchasing water from sellers and recent scarcity of water, this broken well became an attraction. A very deep well drilled at 70 meters, it was a reservoir for water. However, with a broken handpump, it was abandoned while the community run helter-skelter to meet their water needs. The new AFRIDEV pump promised to last longer thus helping them solve the problem of frequent breakdown. |
