A message from the community

Dear Sir,

We sincerely would like to appreciate the management for their effort to bring dead boreholes to life in our community (Gafare-Kuje). We have been suffering for water but our 4 boreholes have been repaired.

May God gift you higher.

Thank you very much and remain blessed.

Chief Peter Kaka

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Gafere is a community of more than 5000 people, as at the time of our visit, only one hand pump was working out of the 4 they had. Our team revived the other 3. They village head pleaded for more wells, that, they have shortage of water in the community. Women also indicated that they were scared of going to the river or far away from their houses due to fear of being kidnapped. This makes drilling new wells around the community even more necessary.
