This community is located within the county of Grand Bassa, within 30  minutes from the central city of Buchana. Like many local communities across Liberia, lacking access to safe drinking because of a failed hand pump is always a pressing need. When Lifewater repaired the local pump, hope was restored.

This work did not only bring life to the locals but also reawakened  the locals to a new joy of life. Many community dwellers expressed their relief from the need to purchase water. Now more than ever, school children are returning to schools on time, free from waterborne diseases.
