Some community details (provided by our in-country partners) |
At first glance, Dark Forest Community Q#6 seems like a familiar Liberian traditional community but deep inside is the need for safe drinking water. Truly, this community once enjoyed the glory days of a functioning hand pump that pumped safe drinking. But since the pump broke down, life has seemed so different. ‘‘This pump has always helped us’’, one local explained. As the pump got repaired, local seemed delighted once again. Many wrote to express their thanks and appreciation for the hard work Lifewater has done for them. As Lifewater pump repair team packed up to leave, they could feel the joy they had given this community. The benevolence of Lifewater and its sponsor will go a very long way in helping the community stay free from waterborne diseases |
