Dear Sir/Madame

This has been a year of troubles.  Fuel has been a constant worry, vehicles have been giving us troubles and now the pandemic.  But with God's help we have been able to repair wells in 45 villages.  Every time we drive towards 1 well, people come out of their homes or run down the street to ask for us to go to see their wells and help them.  The need is great and we are always treated well wherever we go.  

Hanania asked me to write a thank you note including some stories from some of the people we spoke to this month.  In particular I want to share this one.  The day was very hot and we were in a pretty high area, that was hard to get to, for the way was very steep and rocky.  We came around a corner and there was a little girl resting.  She had walked all the way from the river at the bottom of the big hill carrying a bucket on her head. She was crying and her face was really red from the heat.  Her brother was sick and her Mom was caring for him.  She was told to get water to bring home, but the closer dug well had a big line up, since the handpump was broken.  No one would let her in, so she decided to go to the river instead.  I think she was only 5 years old.  We gave her a ride to her home and made sure that the family had enough water for the day.  Then we went to repair the drilled well's handpump.  Everyone was happy for this work and they all offer their gratitude to you.
