Some community details (provided by our in-country partners) |

Sudara is home to more than 1,300 people including women and children who battle constantly to survive. The majority of the people here are farmers who can barely harvest enough food to meet their family needs. They are confronted daily with the need for food, shelter, clothing and clean water. The most accessible sources of water are hand-dug wells, which are usually only 10-15 feet deep and are never sealed, therefore a very high risk of being contaminated. The people have battled a long time with all sorts of infectious diseases. A drilled well has been provided here giving relief to this community of people. |
