Back to OUR DONORS
It was both heart-warming and humbling to learn recently that a 91-year-old man is faithfully setting aside a couple of dollars each week – “money I can save by not buying some groceries I don’t really need” – to provide safe water for people in Africa and Haiti who desperately need it.
“I don’t require much for myself,” says the Ontario man, who asked to remain anonymous. “It’s nice to know that Lifewater can use it.”
We are deeply grateful to this man, and to all of our donors, for your personal sacrifices that are saving lives and transforming communities through the gift of safe, accessible water.
It was Jesus Christ who said: “Anyone who has given so much as a cup of cold water to one of the little ones, because he is my disciple, I tell you, that person will be well rewarded (Matthew 10:42).”
