A message from the community
For two years, we did not have a reliable source of clean water after our hand pump broke down. We could not afford to repair it or buy water from vendors, so having the hand pump fixed so we can get clean water is a blessing. Thank you, Lifewater Canada. -- Community Leaders

After the hand pump on their well broke down, about 500 children and adults living in Zay Zay Community Around Brace Office no longer had access to safe water. They had to start drinking from rivers and shallow hand-dug wells -- sources open to the elements and therefore contaminated. Everyone was fearful of contracting potentially deadly diarrheal diseases. Then Lifewater, thanks to our donors, repaired the pump and restored the grateful community's reliable source of safe water.
