Woopugiyema Christian Revival Mission elementary and junior high school is grateful for the repair of our hand pump. We now have clean and safe water. Thank you lots. -- Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

More than 300 children at Woopugiyema Christian Revival Mission elementary and junior high school relied on a nearby well to meet all their water needs. Three weeks ago, the well's hand-powered pump failed. The anxious students and staff had to begin drinking from a contaminated creek -- putting them at risk of potentially deadly diarrheal diseases. But now Lifewater, through the support of our generous donors, has repaired the pump so everyone has all the safe water they need again.
