The well at Watoe Brown Foundation Day Care supplies water to about 1,000 children and adults at the school and in the surrounding community. When the well's hand pump stopped working three weeks ago, everyone was forced to drink from contaminated sources that put the entire population -- and especially children -- at risk of contracting waterborne illnesses. Now, generous Lifewater Canada donors have enabled us to repair the pump and repair the community's safe water source.
