A message from the community

We thank Lifewater Canada for the provision of clean and safe water by repairing our broken hand pump. Thank you for inspiring healthy living through this thoughtful initiative. God bless you. -- Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Walakor Community Q2 has about 500 children and adults. For their water needs, all of them rely on a local well. When the hand pump on that well broke down three weeks ago, everyone had no choice but to get their water from contaminated rivers, despite the risk of contracting potentially deadly diarrheal diseases. But now Lifewater, through the generosity of our donors, has repaired the hand pump and restored the community's source of safe water and improved health.
