We the K.I.C.D. community thank you very much for rehabilitating our well. We are blessed by your support. -- Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

About 500 children and adults living in K.I.C.D. Community in Kisumu County had no access to safe water for about two years after their local well stopped working. Those who could afford it began buying water from expensive vendors while the majority were forced to begin drinking from contaminated rivers. But recently, Lifewater Canada donors funded the well's rehabilitation, including a repaired hand pump. The community now has safe, affordable water again.
