   26 members of the Wood camp 1110 Block C community attended the Health & Hygiene workshop on May 20, 2009. The lessons taught included Disease Transmission information, a skit focused on the need to share all the information learned with their families and neighbours as well as hand washing techniques and lessons on when to wash your hands and Oral rehydration solution preparation to treat running stomach. How to purify their drinking water if it's unsafe was also taught.  

 

 

   Dear Sir/Madam,

We extend to you our profond thanks for the construction of a latrine in our community. This will help to alleviate the numerous problems we used to face when it comes to feces disposal.
It is our prayer that more communities will follow suit and help improve our sanitation condition.
