We are very grateful for this affordable, portable drill rig which is perfectly suited to work in the North Cape Haitian Plain. It allows the local drillers to drill up to 200 feet. There is an aquifer around 90 to 150 feet and the water there is safe for drinking.

The LS 200 is perfect for the job. It is a simply run machine with technology really good for training local Haitians to drill wells safely. It is simple to run, locally repairable and can be easily maintained. Because it is portable, it can also be dismantled easily and to be manually moved to drill in more remote villages.

Our Volunteer in Haiti just drilled the first well with the new rig this week and it worked like a dream.

We are very pleased to have this rig to provide the Haitian people safe drinking water wells.
