A message from the community

We, the villagers of World Bank in Liberia, wish to say a big thank you to Lifewater Canada and Lifewater Liberia for enabling us to have access to clean and safe drinking water. We thank you for our new well and the new hand pump. May God bless you all.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

People living in World Bank Q3 in Liberia's Kakata city would rink from the dirty creeks. The creeks were the only option of water for years. Even though the residents would often suffer from diseases associated with consumption of dirty water, they had no better choice as they could not afford clean drinking water.

But not anymore, because just recently, Lifewater Canada and Lifewater Liberia drilled a new well in the community and installed a new hand pump. Everyone in World Bank Q3 now have access to clean and safe drinking water.
