We wish to express our utmost gratitude to Lifewater Canada and Lifewater Liberia for enabling us to drink from a clean source that is our new village well. Thank you for drilling for us a well and installing a new hand pump. May God bless you all. ---Comunity Leaders |

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners) |

A dirty creek was the only source of water for about three hundred people living in World Bank Q2 in Liberia's Kakata City. The villagers would associate diseases such as diarrhea that they often suffered from with the consumption of water from the creeks. However, the villagers could not stop collecting water from the dirty sources because they were unable to afford clean sources. But Lifewater Canada and Lifewater Liberia partnered to drill a well for the villagers, and installed a new hand pump. The grateful community is happy to have access to clean and safe water from the well. |
