The only option for water in New Madina community in Liberia's Margibi county was a hand dug well. For a long time, the residents drank and washed from the hand dug well even though the dirty well's water exposed them to diseases such as diarrhea. Thankfully, Lifewater Canada partnered with Lifewater Liberia to drill a new well and  install a new hand pump. More than three hundred people living in Madina village are happy to have access to clean and safe water.
